The Green Visa is one of the UAE’s long-term residency program, intended for international talent, entrepreneurs, and investors, and provide an additional level of independence to those holding UAE work visas.

The main benefits of the Green Visa is that they can sponsor themselves rather than having an employer sponsor them. As per UAE immigration regulations, the eligible visa holder may also sponsor his/her spouse, children, and family members.

Candidates should possess certain eligibility conditions such as self-employment permit/ freelancing permit issued by the authority, educational qualifications, and financial stability. The minimum annual income required is normally specified by UAE immigration regulations, and freelancers must be able to demonstrate that they have at least this much.
